Goonies Camporee Update

The Goonies Camporee this weekend is almost here. I have an update on a big relay race happening at the camp. It has normal things like canoeing, but different things like dropping an egg off the climbing tower. For the two man canoe race you must have passed the BSA Swimmer Test. Also the four patrols are going to be combined into two patrols, possibly three. On Friday the 13 everyone who is going must meeting at the Big Y parking lot in Ludlow by the Berkshire Bank. Then they will leave to get to Moses Scout Reservation. There they will sign in and will go to their camp site. On Sunday the 15 after the closing ceremony Troop 180 will sign out and will leave. I do not know if they are meeting back at the camp. Since there are more people than vehicles there will be some car pooling. Everyone must remember a water bottle, first aid kit, a pocket knife, a mess kit, their scout book, and more. We hope that Troop 180 has a great time, and one more time I wish good luck to the new boy scouts who just crossed over since it is their first Camporee. When Troop 180 gets back from the Camporee I will upload another post, but for now all we can do is wish them the best of luck.
